* Nyepi is a day of absolute silence throughout the island when no activity is done, no traffic is seen anywhere, no fire is lit, and no amusement is held along the day. It's the day of self - introspection for Hindu followers when the entire island turns to be just like being deserted.

**Galungan & Kuningan  are Hindu Balinese Holidays. Balinese use Caka Year, which is 210 days per year, not 365.  That's why these holidays are celebrated twice a year.
